A lovely research trip today for Book 2 of Adventures with Alicia.

We stopped off for a lovely meal at The Crown at Pantygelli, on our way through the beautiful Black Mountains, before travelling along the Golden Pass, Wales’ highest road, and reaching the grade II listed Brynich Aqueduct, which crosses the River Usk. We watched as two narrowboats traversed the canal lochs, then drove 2 miles to the Brecon Basin, where both narrowboats eventually moored up.

A sunny afternoon and evening, meeting lots of travellers from near and far.
